Winter X Games Pictures!

So finally for everyone to see, the SIIICK pictures from the Aspen X Games trip. Hope you like it.

Switch: Director's Cut

Okay, this is so that I can get the word out that yes, the directors cut is done and it is encoding for the web as we speak. The premiere went well which we got to do in conjunction with Jono Decker and Alan Seawright's 29 series. We had over 900 people in attendance. Pretty dang hot if you ask me. As soon as the film is ready for the web, it'll go up here.

Invisible Children - If you are a moral person, give this a look.

Okay, so the picture makes this look like a cheese-ball-type post, but it's not. I just saw a short film, a documentary chronicling what has now become referred to as "the Invisible Children"; an ongoing travesty in Uganda in which a large group of rebels "conscript" (abduct) children from the ages of 5 to 12 to fight against the Ugandan government. It's harrowing and very affecting. These children are subjugated via torture and brutal violence and then forced to carry it out upon other children.

Well, this is an issue which I feel needs more mainstream exposure, so hence, the post. Hundreds of thousands of children have been abducted over the past few years and there is an American movement to help educate these children and as far as I understand to ask the US Government to put pressure onto the Ugandan government to put an end to the conflict.

Either way, it's a good cause and it's definately worth the view. Here's a link to the trailer and we're working to get the full film up onto YouTube or something.

Sometimes I amaze myself....

Two things:

-I like to send do April Fool's business early, so that I can actually catch people.

-I stay up late.

Combine those two things, and you get this email:

SUBJECT: I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE, I HAVE TO TELL YOU MY REAL FEELINGS

PLEASE.

Just read this. I dont care if you never want to speak to me again, just read this and understand!

This is very difficult for me...I'm sorry if this weirds you out....we've known eachother for so long....

....I've been waiting almost a year now....I have to tell you....I take it....it hurt so bad seeing you before....

Of recent events certain things have come to light...I recently moved out...because my mom found my stash....she came home from work early and...I'm usually pretty quick about this...but she caught me in the act. Well needless to say and my mom got scared and said "you're moving with your aunt and uncle in bel-air". I begged and pleaded with her the other day but she packed my suitcase and sent me on my way. She gave me a kissin' and she gave me my ticket. I put my walkman on and said I might as well kick it. I whistled for a cab and when it came near the licence plate said "fresh" and had a dice in the mirror if anything I could say that this cab was rare but I thought now forget it, yo home to bel-air I pulled up to a house about seven or eight and I yelled to the cabby "Yo, home, smell you later". Looked at my kingdom I was finally there to settle my throne as the prince of bel-air.

I thought it was hilarious when I sent it to about ten different girls. Only in retrospect I do wonder what I was thinking.

Well, needless to say this didn't turn out well. I got about 4 sincere letters of concern, 4 girls avoiding me completely, and 2 left unaccounted for. I've heard a lot of comedians say that to become a succesul in that line of work, all one has to do is create bizzare situations that humiliate ones self and everyone around him, and then recount everything for his audience. I dont know though.
